Terms of Service

By using qrqr.fyi you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the site or services. We may update these terms from time to time as described below.

qrqr.fyi offers tools to create, style, and in some cases host or redirect QR codes. Features available without an account may differ from features that require sign in or a paid plan. We may add, change, or retire features to keep the product safe and reliable.

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Planned or emergency maintenance may affect the service briefly.

When you create an account, you agree to provide accurate information and to keep your login credentials confidential. You are responsible for activity under your account unless you notify us of unauthorized use.

You must be old enough to enter a binding agreement where you live. If you use the service on behalf of a business, you confirm that you have authority to accept these terms for that organization.

You are responsible for the content and destinations you encode in QR codes and for complying with applicable laws. You agree not to use qrqr.fyi in ways that harm others or our infrastructure. Examples of prohibited use include but are not limited to the following.

• Phishing, fraud, malware, or other illegal activity
• Harassment, hate speech, or content that violates the rights of others
• Spam or excessive automated requests that strain our systems
• Attempting to probe, scrape, or break security without permission
• Reselling or redistributing the service in a way that misleads users about who operates it

We may investigate reports and remove content or suspend access when we reasonably believe these terms or the law have been violated.

Paid plans and prices are shown on our pricing page at the time you subscribe. Recurring fees are billed through Stripe according to the plan you choose. You are responsible for applicable taxes where required.

You may cancel renewal from your account billing area. Cancellation stops future charges. It does not refund the current period unless our policy or law requires otherwise.

If a payment fails, we may suspend paid features until billing succeeds. Chargebacks or abuse of payment systems may result in closure of the account.

qrqr.fyi owns the software, branding, and materials we provide. Subject to these terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive license to use the service for your own lawful purposes. You may not copy our product to build a competing service, reverse engineer except where law allows, or remove legal notices.

You keep ownership of content you supply. You give us permission to host, process, and display that content only as needed to run the service for you.

The service is provided as is. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties such as merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that outputs will meet every use case or that third-party destinations linked from your QR codes will remain safe or accurate.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, qrqr.fyi and its suppliers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the service.

Our total liability for claims relating to the service in any twelve month period is limited to the greater of one hundred US dollars or the amount you paid us for the service in that period. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so these caps may not apply to you.

You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or end access if you breach these terms, if we must comply with law, or if continuing would create risk for users or our operations. Provisions that by nature should survive will remain in effect after termination.

We may update these terms to reflect new features or legal requirements. When we make material changes, we will post the revised terms on this page and update the date at the top. If you have an account, we may also notify you by email. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated terms.
