Refund & Returns Policy
Last updated: July 5, 2026. This policy explains refund eligibility for paid qrqr.fyi Pro subscriptions. Free static QR code generation is not billed and is not subject to refunds.
1. Overview
qrqr.fyi offers free static QR codes without charge. Pro subscriptions are billed through Stripe according to the plan selected on our pricing page. This refund policy applies only to paid Pro subscriptions.
2. What this covers
This policy covers recurring Pro subscription charges processed by Stripe. It does not apply to free static QR code downloads, which remain available at no cost and without a purchase.
3. Refund eligibility
You may request a refund within 14 days of the initial Pro subscription charge when the plan has been unused or substantially unutilized. We review requests against account activity, billing history, and applicable consumer protection law.
Cancellation stops future renewal charges. It does not automatically refund the current billing period unless your request meets this policy, our Terms of Service, or applicable law requires otherwise.
4. Exceptions
We may issue a refund when:
- You were charged twice for the same subscription period
- A clear billing error occurred (wrong amount or plan)
- Payment succeeded but Pro access was not provisioned and we cannot resolve access promptly
- The initial Pro subscription charge is within the 14-day window and the plan is unused or substantially unutilized
- Applicable consumer protection law in your jurisdiction requires a refund
We do not refund consumed dynamic scan quotas, add-on scan packs that have already been used, or custom enterprise agreements unless those terms say otherwise. Chargebacks or abuse of payment systems may result in account closure, as described in our Terms.
5. How to request a refund
Email support@qrqr.fyi with the email on your account, the approximate charge date, and a brief description of the issue. We aim to respond within five business days.
Approved refunds are processed back to the original payment method through Stripe. Timing may depend on your bank or card issuer.
6. Cancellation vs refund
You may cancel renewal from your account billing area at any time. Cancellation prevents the next charge but does not automatically refund the current period unless an exception above applies.
